Why are all the lights on my trailer not working?
Another possibility is that if the trailer has a lot of running lights the combined power draw may be too much for the tow package wiring to handle. To test this you can disconnect some of the lights that use the running light circuit and if the others start working then that was indeed the issue.
Why are the running lights on my Silverado truck not working?
My silverado blew the fuse for the trailer running lights in this under hood fuse block. The truck’s running lights will work, but the trailer won’t if the fuse is blown.

I doubt the problem is on the trailer because he says it is on every trailer he hooks to. It has to be the truck. Check the truck’s brown wire at the plug, then push the tester through the insulation and see if the wire has current before it enters the plug…Is this a factory trailer package?? Or an add on??….

Truck is not detecting the trailer. I have a 5 pin from the harness to a 7pin adapter (new and old adapter have been tried). No brakes are installed on the trailer, that wire is not grounded but is terminated. Trailer lights work when connected to my Yukon. Trailer has 4 led running lights and 2 led tail lights.

When I hook up the trailer and connect the 7-pin adapter to 4 blade wiring harness, no lights, and the Infotainment System shows “No Trailer Detected”. Of cours 4 weeks later… 1 month later… my 2019 LTZ also didnt power lights at first. Even though the trailer brakes worked. Later it said that the trailer was disconnected.

No brakes are installed on the trailer, that wire is not grounded but is terminated. Trailer lights work when connected to my Yukon. Trailer has 4 led running lights and 2 led tail lights. Am I not pulling enough power to activate the trailing app? I have had several suggestions add lights, add resistors, try a lamp out bypass adapter.
