What kind of motor does an Allison MD3060 have?
The reason I am looking at the MD3060 is there is one close I can pick up for the same cost as an Allison AT545. The MD3060 came from a ’98 motorhome/coach and it was attached to a P pump 5.9 Cummins 12v and as far as the harness it looks like one on the only inputs from the motor would be the TPS and a temp sender.
Where is the neutral safety switch located on an Allison MD3060?
It is located in the ECU. I’m to check the gray plug, pin #6, Wire #123 for power when it fails to crank. If it is the ECU, they can get expensive. (Do you know about how much?) He also said I had the W3 transmission and for that year, they had the W2 & W3.
