Is the Waeco CA-35 3 way absorption cooler still working?
I have a Waeco CA-35 3 way absorption cooler. I just bought it off a mate who has had it from brand new, never used, and still in the box. ( had it for about 4 years) I decided to plug it in to 240 v and give it a try. It just doesn’t work. I checked the power source in the wall socket (all good).

How much refrigerant does a Waeco service unit lose?
A conventional service unit losing 100 grams of refrigerant per service means you are losing a total of 25 euros every time. Things are different with the ASC 5500 G RPA from WAECO. This service unit uses a Low Emission concept which guarantees a refrigerant loss rate of close to zero percent.

Where is the pilot light on the Dometic WAECO?
To make it easier to lite, we did have to take the back panel off to see the pilot light. Located bottom LEFT corner at the back.
Are there any changes to the Dometic WAECO CA-35?
No change. Lights, and stays alight, but no cooling. We have two of these, the other is fine.
Can you put a 2nd ca35 in your car?
Hi robe here I bought 2nd ca35 today and was told works fine I lifted it out of my car slayed it on flat ground in the garage and hasn’t started to get cold after 2_3 hours ? But can feel slight heat on the top vent ? turn it off, let it cool down and turn it upside down to remix the fluids again, do this a few times.
