We camped at Smithwoods RV Park in a Travel Trailer. Be sure to use Mt Hermion rd to get to park, not Ca9. The warnings are true! 9 is a narrow, snakey, drive. It’s fine for the trip down to Santa Cruz in your toad, but not for RV’s. BTW Santa Cruz mission is closed on Tues.

How much does it cost to visit Felton RV park?
Friendly and helpful managers provide guided access to sites as interior roads are somewhat narrow in spots around redwood trees. Small town of Felton is 5 minutes away with all necessary services. Santa Cruz is 15 minutes down the 9 or 17. Park charges $2/day per dog fee. Visitors are required to pay $5/day.
